1.3 Quick Setup
This section provides the essential information for experienced users to operate the switch
immediately. For detailed installation instruction, please see chapter 2 for more
information.
Important Information

The default IP address: 192.168.2.1
z
The default username is: admin
z
The default password is: airlive
z
By the default, the PoE port's power is turned off. You
must turn on the power through web management.
z
This switch does not work with 802.3af and 802.3at PoE
devices.
z
Please make sure your device's PoE port can accept 24V
passive PoE power. 12V passive PoE kit will not work
with this switch.
z
The switch does not include the optional rack mount kit, it
must be purchased separately
z
It is recommended that you install the switch with an UPS
to protect from potential power surge.
z
By default, the POE function of each port is
disabled. You must enable it by going to the web
management.
z
Please do not enable the PoE function on the ports that
are not connected to the passive PoE devices. Enabling
PoE power on a port that is connected with PC or switch
can cause damage or fire hazard.
