2 Drive Specifications
Eject Button/Power LED
The Eject Button to the right of the media slot has an LED whose illumination provides
information about the drive. The table below describes the operation of this indicator:
Activity LED
The Activity LED on the media displays the current status of the media. The table below describes
the operation of this LED:

Activity
OFF
NO POWER Drive does not have power through
SATA power connection.
ON
Steady GREEN
READY
Power is on, RDX is ready and the
Drive is working properly.
ON
Blinking GREEN
EJECTING
Drive is ejecting the media.
ON
Steady AMBER
FAULT
Drive has detected a Drive fault
condition. For more information,
run a diagnostic application.
ON
Steady GREEN
changing to
Blinking AMBER
once the eject
button is pressed.
PREVENT
Host computer is accessing the
media, and the user has pressed
the Eject Button. The Drive will
eject the media after the Host
access completes.
Press and hold eject button for 5
seconds to force media eject.
ON

powered down due to low power mode
