6 Installation
The pipework must be flushed thoroughly before in-
stallation of the dwelling station “Regudis W” – type
GSWB.
6.1 Installation
Determine installation location and ensure hat a peri-
pheral distance of 100 mm towards any obstruction
is guaranteed.
Install piping according to the connection plan (see
4.5). All connections must be equipped with isolating
valves (G 3/4, flat sealing). Drill fixing holes according
to the dimensional sketch (illustr. 4.1). Align station,
mount onto the isolating valves with the supplied seals
and connect using the enclosed fixing material.
Observe warning advice under paragraph 2
(safety notes)!
– Do not use any lubricant or oil when installing
the valve as these may destroy the seals. All
dirt particles and lubricant or oil residues must
be removed from the pipework by flushing the
latter.
– When choosing the operating fluid, the latest
technical development has to be considered
(e.g. VDI 2035).
– Please protect against external forces (e.g. im-
pacts, vibrations etc.).
After installation, check all installation points for leaks.
6.2 Cold water meter
Illustr. 6.1 Installation cold water and heat meter
Remove spacer (13)- entire share- and/or spacer (8)
-hot water share- by loosening the collar nuts. Install
cold water meter according to the instructions of the
manufacturer with due consideration of the correct
flow direction. Lead lock at the safety bore of the
collar nut if required.
Check all connections for leaks.
6.3 Heat meter
Remove spacer (7) by loosening the collar nuts. Install
heat meter in the return of the supply unit according
to the instructions of the manufacturer with due con-
sideration of the correct flow direction. Remove blind
plug M10x1 (9) and install supply sensor (with the
corresponding adapter if required).
5.2 Functional description
Heating operation:
Heating water enters the heating circuit of the dwelling
(F) via the supply of the heating system (D). The hea-
ting return (G) flows back to the supply return (E)
across the zone valve (5) and the differential pressure
regulator (4).
The return temperature of the heating system is limited
to 40°C by an RTL control valve.
Heating of potable water:
Heating water of the supply (D) passes across the
plate heat exchanger (1) and the PM controller (2) and
enters the supply return (E), if hot water is demanded
in the dwelling.
The cold potable water (A) is warmed up according
to the continuous flow principle and is available at
the hot water supply of the dwelling (B).

It is recommended to only use heat meters with
quick sampling rates at one second intervals and
with integrated return sensor in the body.
