7.9 Connectivity Page
The connectivity page allows the configuration of the networking parameters as well as how
the unit interfaces to external peripherals such as camera power and GPS receivers.

Network setup:
Dhcp:
Set the IP addressing mode. In DHCP mode, if the address is not
resolved within 30 seconds the unit defaults to a static IP of
192.168.0.123.
Web login:
The user name and password for the login page.
NB►
When changing the web username and password, it is
recommended to make the changes while the "WEB Password" is
set to "not required" and then re-enable.
Peripherals:
Camera Power:
The camera power can be set to off, 5, 9, or 12 Volts with a
maximum output current of up to 500 mA at 5 V, 200 mA at 12 V
(approx).
GPS Power:
GPS power at 5 or 3V with maximum current of 500mA. GPS
receiver pucks provided by Ovation require a 5V supply.
RS232 Function:
PTZ:
Control external PTZ camera. When selected, the baud rate
PTZ protocol and whether the camera is capable of simplex or
duplex data.
GPS Puck:
enable GPS logging using an external GPS receiver with
an RS232 output.
Console:
enable remote login to the FlashBack-3 for debugging etc.
NB►
After an upgrade to version 4.7 the RS232 Function will be set
to off (even if it was enabled before the upgrade).
