3. GENERAL INFORMATION

3.1 Features

This instrument is an explosionproof type card reader conforming to non-contact IC card (MIFARE card
ISO14443 type A) or contact type magnetic card (JISX6301 model II).
Data entry is available in two ways, using a card reader or a numeric keypad. In addition, entry from the
communication port is displayed on the LCD.
Communication interface is via RS422 (RS485).
