(2) In case of magnetic card
Check the following items.
• Is there any problem in the installation environment of this instrument? .................. Refer to "4.1 Installation".
• Is it the timing to read the magnetic card? .............................................................Refer to "6.1 Outline Flow".
• Is the magnetic card inserted correctly (direction, front or back, insertion speed of magnetic card)?
NOTE : Insert the magnetic card quickly (within 0.5s) and firmly to the end of the slot.
If the insertion speed is slow or insertion is stopped halfway, reading the card data is failed.
• Is any damage, dirt, or the like present on the magnetic card?
In addition, damage, aged deterioration, etc. of the magnetic card reader unit are assumed.
10.3 Numeric Keypad Does Not Respond (with numeric keypad function)
Check the following items.
• Is there any problem in the installation environment of this instrument? .................. Refer to "4.1 Installation".
• Is it the timing to read the numeric keypad? ...........................................................Refer to "6.1 Outline Flow".
• Is the numeric keypad pressed to the end correctly?
In addition, damage, aged deterioration, etc. of the numeric keypad unit are assumed.
10.4 No Communication with Host System
Check the following items.
• Is there any problem in the installation environment of this instrument? ................... Refer to "4.1 Installation".
• Is the communication line specified by OVAL used? ........................................................Refer to "4.2 Wiring".
• Is communication line connected firmly? ...........................................................................Refer to "4.2 Wiring".
• Is the connection method for this instrument correct? ............................Refer to "4.2.2 Connection Method".
• Is the hard switch setting correct? ........................................................................... Refer to "5.2 Hard Switch".
In addition, damage to the control circuit, erroneous setting in the host system, etc. are assumed.
