CAUTIONS FOR USE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY PRIOR TO USE
PROCEDURE FOR GAS LEAKAGE
Turn the cooker off immediately if you smell a strong gas odour and/or hear a 'hissing' sound. This indicates that
there may be a gas leak from the gas cartridge or appliance. If this is evident:
1. Turn the ignition knob to the “OFF” position and unlock the gas cartridge by releasing the cartridge lock lever
to the upward position. If safe to do so, remove and isolate the gas cartridge.
2. Open all windows or move the appliance to a well-ventilated location away from any ignition source. Do not
use or turn on/off any electrical or gas appliance including telephones. Do not light flames or use any equip-
ment that could cause sparks or flames.
3. If there is a gas leak on the appliance and you cannot stop the gas flow or remove the gas cartridge, relocate
the appliance to a well-ventilated location away from any ignition source. Only check for leaks outdoors using
soapy water. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame. Do not inhale the gas at any time.
4. Do not attempt to ignite the cooker any further.
5. Contact your dealer or licensed plumber for service
AUTO SAFETY DEVICE
In the case of long term or excessive heat near the fuel cartridge, pressure will build up to set off the safety device.
The gas cartridge is automatically ejected in the event of over-pressure in the gas cartridge and the flame will be
extinguished. The unit will not operate until the gas pressure of the cartridge returns to the normal range.
HOW TO RESET THE AUTO SAFETY DEVICE
1. Turn the control knob to the “OFF” position
2. Remove the gas cartridge.
3. Turn the ignition knob to the “ON” position and wait 5 minutes to release any excess gas inside the unit.
4. Return the ignition knob back to the “OFF” position.
5. Push the cartridge lever down to the “lock” position and then release it back to the “release” position.
6. Determine the cause of over-pressure, i.e. Stove used in strong direct sunlight, an oversized pot/pan has been
used, insufficient ventilation, etc.
7.
Make necessary adjustments to location, pot/pan used, and if necessary, allow the gas cartridge to cool before
re-installing. Another option is to install a fresh cool gas cartridge.
8. Follow the procedures for installing the gas cartridge and ignition, then re-ignite.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. The unit must be cleaned after each use and maintained at least once every six months. The unit must only be
serviced by a licensed plumber or gas fitter. For repairs, spare parts or service of the appliance, please contact
us or any licensed plumber or gas fitter.
2. When you notice small flame or no flame when you use a new cartridge, it may be that the injector is too dirty
or even blocked. You can clean the injector with a needle thinner than 0.47 mm or you can call the after-sales
centre for advice.
COOKER BODY
1. After using the unit, it may be very hot. Please wait for at least 10 minutes before you move or store it.
2. Ensure the unit is clean at all times. Only clean the unit after the gas cartridge is removed and the unit has
cooled. Clean the cooker body using a damp cloth. Use kitchen detergent if necessary. Wipe dry.
PAN SUPPORT AND DRIP PAN
Remove the pan support and drip pan and clean with warm water and kitchen detergent if necessary.
BURNER HEAD AND SURROUNDINGS
Soil, dirt, oil, dust, grime etc. can clog the burner and affect the flame. Clean the burner head with a metal brush
and keep out of water.
IGNITION PLUG
Keep clean and dry. Clean with a dry cloth.

1. it can’t be pressed by other appliances,
