USE
Warning guideline
Important!
Safety can only be guaranteed if the cover is closed, secured and correctly installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Important
Opening the pool by removing the cover must only be undertaken by a responsible adult. Observe the pool at all times whilst opening and closing it. It is absolutely necessary to completely close or open the pool.
Having the cover half-way over the pool is not permitted.
Warning information
Always check that the water level of the pool remains constant according to the recommendations of the manufacturer.
Covering the pool
- Position the cover between A and B on the edge of the pool and hook in the clamping rubber elements at the corners.
- Two adults should pull the cover across the pool holding two opposite corners, and hook in the corner clamping rubber elements (C and D).
- Hook in all clamping rubber elements on the longitudinal and narrow sides
Removing the cover
- Unhook the clamping rubber elements and remove the cover.
- After removal of the complete cover, fold this together widthways.
Care
The cover must be cleaned at least twice a year (preferably prior to and after the bathing season). A special cleaning product for PVC textiles is to be used for cleaning. Regular cleaning should simply occur using a
water jet. Aggressive, foaming products or solvents and scouring sponges are to be avoided.
Maintenance
The whole cover and the attachment elements must be checked twice a year (e.g. when cleaning the cover). An additional check is necessary if the cover has to be used with respect to its safety function, or following
a period in which it was exposed to extreme strain (storm, snowfall etc.).
Special stipulations for cold seasons
1. The water level of the pool must be kept at an operating level.
2. The cover must be cleared in case more than 10 cm of snow falls onto it.
3. Soiling which could block drainage holes must be removed.
