direction to get perfect receiving result and during the FM
band receiving, please draw out FM antenna

it will reduce the volume. If adjusted to the right (MAX), it
will level up the volume.
ADJUSTING THE SOUND
You can use the earphone to listen to the program played
by the apparatus and it is only needed to insert the
earphone to the earphone jack

At this time connected to the jack, the speaker inside the
apparatus will be automatically disconnected.

USING BATTERIES
Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC socket

of the
unit. Battery power is cut automatically by the cord while it
is connected. Open the battery compartment backward
g
and insert 8 pieces (C/ UM-2 batteries) batteries to the
direction shown by the diagram inside the compartment.
Now close the compartment. Replace the batteries when all
the broadcast sounds change into noise, the sound is
diminishing and starting to be with distortion, the magnetic
tape is even motionless or the CD is incapable to read a disc.
NOTE:
Do not mix the batteries of different types, or use the old
battery and the new battery together. Never charge or heat
or break the battery. When taking out of the battery when it
is exhausted, if it is found out that the battery is with
leakage, the battery should be taken out of the compart
-
ment and the leaked liquid should be thoroughly wiped out.

(You can only use the AC power cord provided together
with the Radio. Using other types of power cord may cause

Radio:
After the apparatus is connected to the power, the power
supply switch needs to be pushed to the left side (RADIO).
Now the Radio is “ON” and the power indicator

CD:
After the apparatus is connected to the power, the power
supply switch needs to be pushed to the right side (CD). Now
the CD-Player is “ON” and the power indicator

will be lit.
TAPE/ OFF:
When the power supply switch is pushed to the middle
(TAPE/ OFF), cutting originally the power supply of the
player and the power indicator

will not be lit at this
time, but you can of course use the cassette-player to push
the play button
