Usenewscrewscoatedwiththreadlockorapplyaliquidthreadlocktotheexistingscrews.

4.3.1  Replacing the cross brace mounting kit - center

InfoRMaTIon

Withremovalofthecentralscrewconnectionofthemountingkit,thestabilityofthecrossbraceand

framegetslost.Attachanewmountingkitbeforemovingthechair.

Loosenandremovethescrewsasshowninthephoto(Fig.25)andpulltheplastichalf-shells

outfrombetweenthecrossbracetubes.
Forassembly,pleaseproceedinreverseorder.Usenew,self-lockingnuts.

4.3.2  Scale on the crossbrace bracket

Thecrossbracebracketsareprovidedwithascaleshowingtheappropriatesettingforthecor-

respondingseatwidth(Fig.26).

4.3.3  Replacing the crossbrace brackets

Afterlooseningandremovingthescrewconnectionyoucanunclipthecrossbracebracketfrom

theframeandreplaceit(Fig.27).Pleasepayattentiontothescaleasdescribedabove.

4.3.4  Replacing the seat upholstery

Firstremovethefrontendstoppersusinga(nottoosharp-edged)screwdriver(Fig.28).
Ifthewheelchairisunfolded,slightlyfoldittoreducethetensionontheseatupholsteryandthen

pulltheseatupholsteryoutofthecrossbrace‘sprofiletubes.
