3. Notification of Battery Degradation
• If all of the battery capacity lamps are not on when the capacity indication button is pressed after charging, this
means that the battery has become degraded and its capacity has decreased. (Depending on the condition of the
battery, the capacity lamps may return to the original display after subsequent chargings.)
• Judge the need for replacing the battery with a new one by using the table below as a guide for the degree of
degradation of the battery capacity.

Note:
• Depending on the condition of the battery, the capacity lamps may return to the original display after subsequent
chargings.
• Consult with the dealer if no more than 3 capacity lamps light up after charging within 1 year of use.
(each time after charging)
Although the battery has degraded
to about 60 to 80% of the initial
capacity, the battery will still enable
adequate wheelchair performance.
The battery capacity will be
decreased in comparison to a brand
new battery. If one desires to run
the wheelchair for a long distance
after charging it only once, the
battery should be replaced with a
new one.
(each time after charging)
The battery has degraded to about
60% of the initial capacity and will
not enable adequate wheelchair
performance.
