8) Insert the conical fixation pin from the right
side.
NOTICE! The fixation pin can only be
inserted from the RIGHT side (due to
the conical shape of the fixation pin).
9) Use flat nose pliers to press the fixation pin
into the bore.
NOTICE! Avoid strong impacts to the
product and finger motors!
NOTICE! The fixation pin must be fully
recessed in the bore and must not
project from the bore on either side.
10) Check the flexion of the finger.

The finger chain has been replaced and
the product can be used again.

Replacement of the finger chain by an authorised Ottobock Service Centre
If the finger chain cannot be replaced, the terminal device can also be sent to an authorised
Ottobock Service Centre. The terminal device should be in "donning mode" prior to shipment
(see page 21).
