2.3 Design
The orthotic joint is equipped with a latch lock that engages in 20° incre­
ments in the extension direction. The latch lock can be unlocked at maximum
flexion of the elbow joint, at approximately 135°.
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The product is intended
exclusively
for use in pairs for prosthetic and
orthotic fittings of the upper limbs on one patient.
3.2 Indications
• Transradial to transcarpal amputation level
• Orthopaedic diseases of the upper limbs
• Partial or total paralysis of the arm muscles
Indications must be determined by the physician.
3.3 Lifetime
The product is designed for a lifetime of 3 years when used as intended and
assembled professionally.
