5 Uninstalling the USB interface drivers
How to uninstall the USB interface drivers:

Connect the OTT IrDA-Link USB to a USB interface on the
PC.

Select "Start"

"Control Panel"
➝
"System"
➝
"Hard-
ware"
➝
"Device Manager".

Click on "USB Serial Port (COMx)" using the right mouse
button and select "Uninstall".
䡵
Confirm "Warning: You are about to uninstall this device
from your system." with "OK".
䡵
Click on "USB Serial Converter" using the right mouse
button and select "Uninstall".
䡵
Confirm "Warning: You are about to uninstall this device
from your system." with "OK".

Close Device Manager.

Follow this sequence for uninstalling!

If the OTT IrDA-Link USB is connected again, the opera-
ting system will install the USB interface drivers automatic-
ally without asking. The operating system saves installati-
on files during the initial installation in the Windows
system directory for this purpose.
