Notes on operating instructions
The operating instructions contain important information on how to operate the Aquamatic™ II safely, correctly and effect-
ively. The operating instructions are intended for new operating personnel and also should be continued to be used as a
reference manual. Reading and understanding the operating instructions will assit the user in avoiding risks, reducing repair
costs, lowering down-time, increasing reliability and extending the service life of the equipment.

Prior to first use, please read the chapter “Safety advice” to be prepared for any possible dangerous situations. The basic
principles are:

Operational safety and readiness for use depend not only on your capabilities, but also on
care and maintenance
given to
the Aquamatic™ II. Regular cleaning and service work are a must. Major maintenance and repair work should be carried
out only by expert personnel authorized by producer. For repairs, only use the Producer spare parts to preserve the equip-
ment warranty and ensure operational safety, readiness for work and to maintain the value of the equipment.

The product Aquamatic™ II bears CE Marking CE-0124 according to the EEC guideline of the council for medical
products 93/42/EEC and meets the basic requirements of this guideline.

The quality management system applied at producer has been certified according to international standards EN ISO
9001 and EN 13485.

Intended use
•
Compact unit for stimulation of the vestibule.
Distinguished by its easy operation, it can be used in a hospital and in a practice.
•
May also be used for irrigation of the auditory canal during examinations.
•
The unit is available with different water flow rates for the stimulation mode and for the irrigation mode. The respect-
ive flow rates are stated on the type plate.
•
This unit may not be used if the auditory canal is inflamed or contaminated.
