fitting rationales
Oticon Acto supports NAL NL1 and DSL v5.0a fitting
ratio nales.
NAL NL1 is prescribed for adults.
For kids, Oticon Acto instruments are prescribed with the
DSL v5.0a rationale.
Introduction the Oticon Acto family
Oticon Acto is the high performance mid-market hearing
instrument. Available in the miniRITE style and built on the
RISE 2 platform, Oticon Acto empowers people with hearing
loss to communicate freely, interact naturally and participate
actively.
Oticon Acto is the first mid-market Oticon hearing instrument
to offer binaural synchronisation as just one best in class fea-
ture in a full technology package. We believe that in terms of
sound quality, connectivity and flexibility, Oticon Acto is the all
together better option for your clients and your business.
the Oticon Acto family comprises a full range of
instruments:
— CIC and CIC Power
— ITC and ITC Power
— ITE
— miniRITE and RITE with Power options
— BTE with hook and Corda thintube options
— Dedicated compact BTE Power
Acto is powered by Oticon’s industry leading RISE 2 platform
and 8 kHz of bandwidth. Acto delivers superior sound quality,
wireless connectivity and balanced sound via binaural syn-
chronisation and Decision Maker2, which optimizes direction-
ality and noise management to changing environments.
flexible Receiver system
With miniRITE and RITE instruments, a new flexible Receiver
system is introduced and allows configuring these instruments
to gradually become more powerful. The system builds on
three different types of Receivers (S, M and P) thereby creating
three different output levels from the same instrument style.
CAUTION: It is critical that the Receiver selected in the
selection step is the one attached to the actual instrument.
If not, the output level of the instrument will not match the
programmed settings and may cause damage to the client’s
hearing.
