• Ensure that the kettle is properly located on the power base before switching on
• Remove the kettle from power base before filling or pouring.

attempt to
remove the kettle from the power base until it is switched off, manually or automatically
• Use the kettle only with the power base supplied and vice-versa

use appliance for other than intended use
• Use on a hard, flat level surface only, to avoid interruption of air flow underneath
the appliance
• Extreme caution must be used when handling or moving kettle and pouring from kettle
containing boiling water
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the heating cycle
