IMpoRtANt SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE SANDWICH MAKER.
2. Before connecting the appliance, make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same
as the voltage indicated on the appliance’s rating label.
3. The temparature of accessible surfaces may be hot when the appliance is operating.
4. DO NOT touch the Sandwich Maker’s hot surfaces.
5. To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse the power cord, plug or
Sandwich Maker in water or any other liquid.
6. Unplug the power cord from the electric outlet when the Sandwich Maker is not in
use and before cleaning. Allow the Sandwich Maker parts to cool before cleaning the
appliance or storing.
7. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the unit
malfunctions or is damaged in any manner. To avoid the risk of electric shock, DO
NOT disassemble the appliance. Take it to an Authorized Oster
®
Service Center for
examination and repair. Incorrect re-assembly can cause a risk of electric shock
when the appliance is used.

13. To disconnect, remove plug from the wall outlet. NEVER yank the cord to
disconnect the appliance from the outlet. To unplug, grasp plug and pull straight out
from the outlet.
14. Use this Sandwich Maker only for its intended use.
15. Use the Sandwich Maker on a hard, flat level surface to avoid interruption of airflow
underneath this appliance.
16. This Sandwich Maker is designed for household use only.
17. DO NOT operate in the open position.
18. When using this appliance, provide adequate air space above and on all sides for air
circulation.
19. DO NOT leave Sandwich Maker unattended during use.
