Instruction for use rubber tip with spikes
Article 717
The crutch tip with spikes is an added tool for walking frames or walking canes made of aluminum and wood. It serves as a safe
skid on snow and icy conditions.
1. Safety References
• Maximum load 130 kg
• Crutch tips never clean with oily substances. Danger of slipping!
• Beware of wet and icy surfaces, when used with a cover, there is danger of slipping!
• Before each use, check the crutch tip on the firmly fit! If the cover looses here, don´t use the crutch tip.
• Use the crutch tip without cover only on ice or snow and only outdoors.
• Don´t uses the crutch tip without cover in buildings. Danger of slipping!
• Never use the crutch tip without cover on sensitive floors!
• When the crutch tip is used without cover, use the walking aids very carefully as by careless behavior other persons can
be injured or objects can be damaged.
• Use the crutch tip only in winter. Remove the crutch tip when it is no longer needed!
• The crutch tip can be used in temperatures range from -10 to +70 °C.
2. Assembly

Pull the existing capsule off of your walking aid.
2.:
Now, put the crutch tip on your walking aid. Do not use a lubricant.
Make sure that the crutch tip is completely attached.
If you have any difficulties during installation, please contact your local dealer, this can certainly help you.
3. Application
When ice or snow, take off the cover. As soon as you enter a building, clean the crutch tip and put on the cover firmly. Check
before each use of the walking aid the firmly fit of the capsule. If the crutch tip should loosen here do not use the walking aid!
Use the crutch tip with spikes only in winter. In summer, you should always use regular crutch tip.

Wipe with a damp cloth and possibly with a mild household cleaner and let dry.
6. Disposal
Please inquire with your specialized dealer about the regional waste disposal.
7. Warranty and Liability
You have purchased a high-quality Ossenberg product. If you have a justified complaint, despite highest quality
standards in our manufacturing, we are entitled, at our discretion – within a 12 month warranty period - to repair
the defective product or to replace it with an immaculate one.
Please note that for our products, especially custom made products, stricter legal regulations do apply. We cannot
assume liability for damages resulting from modifications made to our products.
Not covered by the warranty are damages resulting from ordinary wear and tear or inappropriate use. Wearing parts
are excluded from warranty.
