3) Group 2/3 (forward-facing)
(For children weighing 15-36 kg)
INFORMATION:
FIRST REMOVE THE BELT SYSTEM AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
1.
Turn the seat into the forward-facing position. Check that the child car seat is locked in this
position.
2.
Press the two lateral Isofix connector buttons to extend the Isofix connectors.
3.
Guide the Isofix connectors onto the Isofix fittings on the seat of the vehicle and ensure
that they lock in position.
4. Push the child car seat in until it rests securely against the backrest of the car seat. Ensure
that both Isofix indicators are showing green.
5. Now thread the diagonal belt through the 3-point car seatbelt guide on the head support
of the child car seat.
6. When placing your child in the child car seat, turn the car seat towards the car door for
convenience.
7. Put your child in the child car seat.

Adjust the height of the head support so that the child’s head is fully in the head support
and the diagonal belt exits the belt guide at the child’s shoulder height.
9.
Turn the seat into the forward-facing position. Check that the child car seat is locked in this
position.
10. Fasten the belt buckle of the 3-point car seatbelt again until you hear a click.
11. Pull the diagonal strap in order to tighten it. Ensure that the straps are not twisted.
12.
The child car seat may only be used in seat position 5 in this age class.
Installation without Isofix:
Alternatively, the child car seat can also be installed for Group 2/3 with just the 3-point belt.
Connecting the seat with the Isofix connectors is not absolutely essential but is recommended.
