1. Possible Range of High-Pressure Steam Sterilizer
The file holder cord and lip clip can be steam autoclaved within the range of temperature not
beyond 135°C, but do not make a drying cycle.
2. Quality Deterioration by High-Pressure Steam Sterilizer
By steam autoclave sterilization (heat, pressure, steam , etc.), rust, corrosion , quality change and
discoloration of components will occur on the file holder cord and lip clip. This leads to
deterioration in performance and function gradually.
3. Prevention of Rapid Deterioration from High-pressure Steam Sterilizer
1) Observe the cautions written in the instruction for use strictly.
2) Do not use the autoclave equipment whose container gets higher temperature or has possibility
to get higher temperature than specified temperature(temperature in the chamber).
3) When giving steam autoclave sterilization, keep instruments in the sterilization bag. It prevents
the transfer of the rust to instruments from the equipment.
4) Use distilled water or purified water for steam autoclave sterilization.
Depending on the area, water contains different quantity of chlorine, iron, and other variable
impurities. Those impurities may give bad influences.
5) Clean instruments more perfectly before steam autoclave sterilization.
If medical solution or blood is adhered to instruments, it forms rust, brings discoloring or is
hardened in the course of sterilization. It brings the deterioration and less work efficiency.
6) Water becomes dirty by steam autoclave sterilization. Change water more often than once a
week. (Refer to the instruction for use for each high-pressure steam sterilizer)
