DNR/Blue back/Rec screen status (LCD Power on/off)
DNR
Sometimes it is not possible to input a high-quality TV signal.
The actually inputted signal is noisy, e.g. a noisy, analogue cable
TV signal. DNR can somewhat improve any interference caused
by the faulty input signal.

Select DNR, then press
ENTER

Then press or to select OFF,
LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH.

Repeat step 1 to set other values, or press
EXIT
to return to
the normal screen.
The interferences from the imput are suppressed most if
HIGH is set. This could result in side-effects such as loss of
sharpness and smearing.
Blue back
You can set the TV to automatically change to a blue screen and
mute the sound if the signal is weak or absent.

Rec screen status (LCD Power on/off)
This function is used in conjunction with the Timer function that
is included as part of the Digital EPG. It determines whether the
TV screen switches on or not when a programmed Timer setting
begins - see page 45 for further details.
