1) Speaker Placement
Determine the location of your ROCK speakers. Designate the general area where the
speakers would be most ideal. The speakers should face the general listening area and be
placed at or close to the same distance from that point for good stereo sound.
Place the speakers in the location where they will camouflage with your surroundings. The
aesthetic rock shape and finish would blend particularly well in your landscape if it is placed
near a water fountain, rock wall or swimming pool. Avoid placing the speakers in very low spots
that would make the speakers vulnerable to high pressure sprinklers or water accumulation
as it may damage the speakers. Avoid placing the Rock speaker in mulch, behind plants or
other obstacles that may block the sound or alter the audio quality.
2) Connecting the Wires
1. Plan how you’ll route the wire to the desired speaker location.
2. Estimate the length of additional wire you will need for each speaker.
3. Dig a 4” – 5” deep trench to run the speaker wires in.
4. Strip ¼ to ½ inches (6 to 12 mm) of the insulation off both ends of the wire. To avoid stray
strands, twist them at the end.
