TROUBLESHOOTING
The possibility of a fault occurring during its operational life is likely with any electronic equipment.
W e have strived to make this the most reliable power supply available. A competent service
person should perform any maintenance if a problem does occur . It is strongly recommended
that field repair be limited to the repair or replacement of all components which are readily
available.
No attempt should be made to repair the power supply module to the component level
.
Simply replace and return the defective module to Oriel.
A flow chart of a suggested approach to troubleshooting is on the next page. Please use it as a
guide for resolving any problems. This is general in nature and should be used as a starting point.
Do not forget the analysis of obvious problems such as; loose or broken wires, blown fuses or
circuit breakers and unconnected external cables.
