Fahrenheit Video 3D User's Manual

Section 2: Software Installation

Windows 3.1x

Before You Begin

Before installing the Fahrenheit Video 3D high resolu-

tion drivers for Windows, you must configure Windows

to start up with the standard VGA driver. Follow the

steps below to select the standard VGA driver:

1. From DOS, change to your Windows directory.

The Windows Setup screen is displayed by typing:

SETUP

2. Highlight the Display option and press ENTER.

From the menu select the VGA video display driver

and press ENTER.

3. Save your configuration and exit to DOS.

Software Installation

1. Start Microsoft Windows 3.1.

2. From the Program Manager File menu, choose

Run.

3. Insert the Fahrenheit Video 3D CD into your CD-

ROM drive.

4. Type in the software location: D:\WIN31\SETUP

(where D is the CD-ROM drive letter). Click on

OK.

5. The Fahrenheit Video 3D Welcome screen ap-

pears. Click on Next to continue with the setup

program.

6. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete

the software installation.
