Storing Number with Pauses
You can use Pauses to access automated systems, such as Voice
mail or credit billing.
The available types of pause –
• Wait (;) - The phone dials the number, but advances to the next
set of digits only once the user releases the pause. If the prompt,
“Send the following tone” appears, use the
Navigation key to
highlight Yes and press OK .
• 2-Sec Pause (,) - Before dialing the next series of digits, the
phone waits two seconds.
To store a number using the Pause feature
1. From the Home screen, enter the phone number > press the
Right soft key .
2. Use the Navigation key to highlight Add 2-sec pause or Add
wait > press the OK key .
3. Enter the additional details such as PIN, credit card number, and
so on.
4. Press the Right soft key .
5. Press the 1 key > Add to Contacts .
6. Choose to Create contact or Update a contact .
7. Use the Navigation key to scroll and enter the contact
information, as required.
8. Press the OK key > Save to save the entry.
Favorites
You can mark contacts as favorites and easily access them from
other apps.
