•
Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you
connect the appliance.
•
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
•
Do not use the appliance if the plug, the cord or the
appliance itself shows visible damage, or if the appliance
has been dropped or is leaking.
•
Check the cord regularly for possible damage.
•
The soleplate can heat up a lot and, if it is touched, can
cause burns.
•
Do not let the cord contact with soleplate when it is hot.
•
When you have finished ironing, clean the appliance, fill
or empty the water tank or when you leave the iron even
if only for a moment, set the steam control to 0 position,
put the iron on its base support and unplug of the mains.
•
Always place and use the iron on stable and horizontal
surface.
•
The iron must not be left unattended while it is
connected to the supply mains.
•
Remove the plug from the socket before filling the
appliance with water.
•
The filling hole should not be open during operation
•
The appliance must be used and placed on a stable
surface.
•
When placed on its stand, make sure that the surface on
which the stand is placed is stable.
