depending on the recording quality and the condition
of the disc itself, or the characteristics of the recording

Also, the disc will not play if it has not been properly
finalized. This is not a malfunction. For details, refer to
the instruction manual of the recording equipment.
Note about DVD and VIDEO CD
playback functions:
Some DVD and VIDEO CD playback functions
may be intentionally disabled by the program
manufacturer. Since this unit plays DVDs and
VIDEO CDs according to the disc’s contents,
the playback may not be available. For more
information, see the instructions on the DVD or
VIDEO CD.
Important Notice:
Depending on the condition and
characteristics of a particular disc, it may not
be playable even though it is in one of the
previously supported formats. This inability
to play a disc occurs especially with burned
discs (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD
+ R, DVD + RW, etc.).
Also, MPEG 4 files (DivX, Xvid, etc.) may
experience short-term playback
or longer-term image freeze, image mosaic,
or depending on since the codec used, the
file may not play at all.
This is not a device failure.
Important warning:
Depending on the disc, there may also be
situations during which the picture stops (for
a while or for a long time) (freezing) or skips,
or the unit stops (“freezing”) and does not
respond to any control. This is a common
feature of all devices containing a processor
(similar to a PC or mobile phone).
Such situations can be caused by static
electricity, fluctuations in the power
distribution network, the amount of read
data, or data. This is not a malfunction. If this
happens, restart the device as follows: Turn
the device off and unplug it (if the device
cannot be turned off, just unplug it). After
about a minute, reconnect and turn on the
device.
The occurrence of these phenomena is not a
malfunction
and does not qualify for a claim.
Is possible
Video playback (moving
movies) as well as
music playback.
Compared to Ver. 1.1
Interactive software

Menu Screen on the TV
