Remove the Power Supply Slot Cover
The power supply filler covers an empty power supply slot.
WARNING:
Do not operate the library with an open and empty power supply or tape
drive slot. Always have a cover in place.
1.
Hook your finger in the hole of the power supply cover.
2.
Pull the cover from the power supply slot and set it aside.
Insert a Power Supply into the Slot
Power supplies provide power to the tape drives and library components.
1.
Remove the power supply filler from the slot (see
).
2.
Remove the power supply from the shipping carton.
3.
Grasp the power supply by the handle with one hand and support the bottom of
the supply with your other hand.
4.
Guide the power supply into the power supply slot.
5.
Make sure the power supply is latched in place.
