Determine if the System Service Required LED is lit on the front panel or the rear

I/O module.

Remove the Service Processor Card

The service processor card is a cold-service component that can be replaced only after you have

removed the main module.

Caution -

This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail.

Determine your first step:

If you cannot access the service processor card, go to

Step 2

If you can access the service processor card, back up the SP configuration

information.
