Operation:
1. Starting & preparation before laminating
●
Plug the equipment into power socket
●
Set the switch into “HOT” or Cold position
●
Choose correct thickness and type of pouch
●
Put the document into the pouch
●
Select pouch thickness by the switch to position
“I” for 80 - micron pouches and position
“II” for 100 to125 - micron pouches
●
Ensure the rear flap is open and pull out the extension before operating.
Hot lamination:
●
Turn the equipment on by the main switch to the position “HOT” heating will start
●
After switching the laminator on, the red LED will light up. When the required temperature
is reached after 3 – 5 minutes, the green LED comes on the equipment is ready to use
●
Insert the laminating pouch with the document inside into the entry, sealed/closed end FIRST
●
Pouch and document will move through the unit and exit at the rear laminated
●
Take laminated document and check the quality of lamination. If the pouch is not perfectly
transparent, repeat the process, once again wait until the green led comes on.
(Change the heat-setting switch if required)
NOTE! It is recommended to leave approx. 3mm margin on every side of the document.
Laminated document jammed:
●
If the document gets stuck or jammed use the switch, REV to reverse the document out.
●
If the pouch gets entangled in the rollers and you cannot remove the document or operate
incorrectly, contact the Dealer or service team.
Cold lamination:
●
Switch the main switch to the position, „COLD” the green light will come on the equipment is ready
for cold lamination
●
After hot lamination, wait 40 – 60 minutes. For the equipment to cool down before you,
start cold lamination.
Laminator Maintenance and Repair:
●
Before clearing the equipment remove the plug from a mains socket
●
Be careful when cleaning the equipment! The water or any other liquids must not get inside
the equipment.
●
If the pouch gets entangled in the rollers or the laminator does not operate correctly contact
the Dealer or service team
