Monitored battery temperature may also modify the charge program selected. Delta T (the
temperature change) algorithm is not the primary algorithm for determining a battery full-charge
condition; however, temperature is measured and used to modify the charge profile in a
proprietary method. This ensures that battery temperature never approaches critical limits and
protects batteries from temperature extremes. As a fail-safe method battery temperature may
cause charge termination as a full charge event if other parameters are met as well.
8. Maintenance
The device is maintenance free but should be cleaned occasionally. When cleaning, the device
must be removed from any power source. Only use dry and soft cloth to clean the housing of the
charger Do not use abrasive or solvents.
Repairs may only be performed by authorized repair stations. Any repair or modification not
performed by an authorized repair station voids the manufacturer's warranty.
9. Disposal
9.1 Disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment.
In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human health and
utilize natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to
relevant facilities in accordance with statutory regulations. The crossed-out wheeled bin
indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and not as municipal waste.
Never dispose of batteries in a fire. Explosion and personal injury may result.
9.2 Used batteries/rechargeable batteries disposal.
Regulations require proper disposal of rechargeable batteries. Disposing used batteries in the
household waste is prohibited. Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the
crossed-out wheeled bin. The symbol indicates that the product is forbidden to be disposed via the
domestic refuse. Return used batteries to authorized recycling stations or used battery collection
center.
