4 Operation
4-1Use glass stage (一) Take out from the sunken place.(Fig 1)
4-2Adjust tightness of focusing
1. Hold one knob and turn another to adjust. The clockwise direction is for
tight and counter-clockwise direction for loose. (Fig 2)
2. The suitable position of tightness can make the adjustment more
comfortable and prevent the focusing arm slipping down by its weight
during the observation.
4-3Set the specimen slides
1. Set the specimen on the center of stage plate. If necessary, clamp the
slide with the clips.
2. Turn on the light.
4-4Adjust diopter
1. Turn the zoom knob to the maximum magnification.
2. Turn diopter adjusting ring to “0”.
3. Look through the right eyepiece and adjust focusing arm to make image
clear.
4. Turn the zoom knob to minimum magnification.

7. Turn the zoom knob to minimum and look through the left eyepiece and adjust the left diopter ring to
make the image clear. (Fig 3)
4-5Adjust interpupillary distance
Hold both eyepiece tube and slide as to comfortable position.

4-6 Use the eyepiece cap
For user who does not wear glasses, put the eyepiece cap on eyepiece.
For user who wear glasses, put the eyepiece cap on and turn it over. (Fig
5)
