B. SEnSor - - disconn. appears on the screen
Possible causes: No signal is applied to the read head.
Remedy:
a. Check the installation of the 8-pin connector (behind
the DR01 backplane)
b. Cable to read head interrupted ( new cable with read
head required).
c. Battery removed, wait about 10 seconds to reload.
d. PrESSF to start SEtup appears on the screen.
Possible cause: Read head signal fault.
Remedy:
a. Press once
b. See "Adaptive adjustment of the installation dis-
tance".
c. The cable is pressed in, which leads to a bad con-
tact.
d. Use a new read head with cable.
D. Only 0 ~ 1.00mm appears on the screen when the
head is moved.
Possible cause: Read head signal interference.
Remedy:
a. Cable break from read head or bad contact.
b. The read head was slightly or completely damaged
by impact.
c. Replace the read head and the cable.
E. No display on the screen.
Possible cause: Battery's dead.
Remedy: Replace the battery (see "How to replace the
battery").
F. On the screen appears:

Likely causes: Indicates that the battery is low.
Remedy:
a. Battery needs to be replaced.
b. Please replace the battery as soon as possible, the
DR01 may switch off shortly and cause memory loss
and measurement errors.
