Remote Host IP
(1) is meant to be the PC “IP address” which will be sharing and
process data throught the Keratron
™
Scout Software. In the event of a direct
Ethernet connection the
Remote Host IP
will be same as the one set on the PC in
accordance to what described in the §9.4.1 and §9.4.2. If for some reason it is
necessary to change the IP address on the PC, you must update with that new
address also the
Remote Host IP
field on Keratron™ Nova.
A network administrator can change the TCP / IP configuration of the Keratron™
Nova by selecting the button "
Local TCP / IP Settings

configuration within a LAN network will be disclosed within §9.5
Pressing the "
Factory Default
" (3) button will restore TCP/IP configuration to factory
default settings.
9.5 CONFIGURING THE CONNECTION TO AN EXTERNAL PC VIA
THE LOCAL NETWORK
If you want to connect the Keratron™ Nova, through a
router
, to an already existing
LAN (wired or wireless) it is recommended to do so under the supervision of the
Network Administrator. Here,
as an indication

configuration of the Keratron™ Nova are described both for a network controlled by a
