Features of the Scanner 1.1
The L-46X is a handheld, imager based, 2D barcode scanner that enables high speed scanning of 1D
(linear) and 2D barcode as well as OCR fonts. The main features of the L-46X are as follows:
● 360° high speed reading
The extremely high performance decoder and optics used in this product ensures stress-free
scanning and fast response without being affected by hand movement and poor lighting conditions.
● Auto trigger
When placed in the STD-46 stand (included or optional depending on the specification), this scanner
can be set to auto trigger mode, allowing for true handsfree operation. The scanner is then triggered
automatically by a moving target and barcodes will then be scanned instantaneously.
● Data edit programming (data output formatting)
This scanner features a unique script program
function called “Data Editing” which gives a user an
almost unlimited flexibility to format the scanned data before it is sent out. Up to 16 barcodes can be
(partially) combined and fixed parts can be added subtracted, or substituted before its final output.
The output editing process, such as GS1 format, can also be configured easily.
● Anti-microbial / Anti-Yellowing (White model)
The white model uses anti-microbial (ISO 22196 equivalent) and anti-yellowing material so that it
can be used for medical applications.
● LED aiming / Lighting
A well-defined single line of green LED light and efficient warm-white LED illumination makes it easy
to aim the scanner while providing safety and long life.
● Setting tool
“UniversalConfig” is ready to use and it makes installation easy.
● Various interfaces
By exchanging cables and changing setting, a RS-232C model can converted to a USB model and
vice versa.
