Safety Precautions

 

●

When liquid other than water is adhered

•  If any liquid other than water (seawater, detergent, alcohol, etc.) is 

adhered, wash off with water immediately.

•  You can wash it under tap water of weak flow (less than 6 litter 

per min.) at room temperature (5

) at a distance of 

approximately 10 cm away from a tap or showerhead.

•  If the product gets soiled, wash it with hands holding the SIM 

card/microSD memory card tray to not open. Do not use a brush 
etc.

When the product gets wet

•  When the product gets wet, drain water and wipe off with dry 

clean cloth.

•  In cold regions, water droplets on the product may freeze. Using 

with droplets frozen may cause a malfunction. Do not leave those 
water droplets on the product.

 

●

Rubber gasket

•  The rubber gasket on the SIM card/microSD memory card tray 

plays an important role for maintaining waterproof performance. 
Do not damage or remove it.

•  Be careful not to get the rubber gasket pinched when closing 

the SIM card/microSD memory card tray. If you attempt to 
forcibly close the tray with the rubber gasket pinched, the rubber 
gasket may be damaged and that hinder maintaining waterproof 
performance. Even a fine mote (a piece of hair, etc.) between the 
contact surfaces may cause water ingress.

•  If liquid other than water (alcohol etc.) is adhered, durability 

performance may not be able to be maintained.

•  Do not insert a sharp pointed object into the gap of the SIM card/

microSD memory card tray. The product may be damaged or 
deformed, or the rubber gasket may be damaged and that causes 
water ingress.

•  You are recommended to replace the parts to maintain water 

performance every two years regardless of existence of abnormity.

Heat resistance property

•  Do not soak into hot water or splash hot water. Also, do not use 

the product in a sauna or apply hot airflow of hair dryer etc. The 
product is not heat resistant.

Impact tolerance

•  The product is not impact resistant. Do not drop the product 

or give impact to the product. Also, do not poke the receiver, 
speaker, mouthpiece/main microphone, sub-microphone, etc. 
with a sharp pointed object. The product may be damaged or 
deformed and that causes water ingress.
