Information booklet about rocket models

Safety code

1. Construction of model

My models are made out of non-metillc materials like paper and cardboard, wood, plastic and rubber. They do

not include any metal parts which would interfere with the safety.

2. Propulsion

I will only use industrial made charges of up to 20 g which will be in accordance with the determination of the

explosive law. I will insert the charges in accordance with a manner described by the manufacturer and will

never try to recharge or change them in any way.

3. Recovery

I will always equip them with a "parachute" so that they can glide to the ground without the danger of injuring

people and are reusable.

4. Stability

I will check the stability of the model each time before launching except by models which flying properties

have already been proofen.

5. Safety when launching

I wlil make sure that nobody is approaching the rocket when launching. Before each launching, any surround

people will be informed by a loud count - down.

6. Launching Conditions

I will never launch a rocket when there is a strong wind, near high buildings or near power lines. I will never

go above the limit of the controlled air space. Before each launch, I will always make sure that I will not en-

danger any low-flying airplanes before each launch.

7. Fire prevention at the launching area

The launching ramp of my rocket will only be put up on an open, clean area. I will make sure that no  burnable

materials will be near it and that the parachute is protected with the fleece before launching.
