3.6.5 Create Hot Spare
When you choose the
Create Hot Spare
option in the Raid Set Function, all
unused physical devices connected to the current controller appear: Select
the target disk by clicking on the appropriate check box. Tick on the
Confirm
The Operation
, and click on the
Submit
button in the screen to create the
hot spares.
The create Hot Spare option gives you the ability to define a global hot spare.
3.6.6 Delete Hot Spare
Select the target Hot Spare disk to delete by clicking on the appropriate
check box.
Tick on the
Confirm The Operation
, and click on the
Submit
button in the
screen to delete the hot spares.
