Installation (Hot Water Heater)
Wall reinforcement is required when the wall is not strong enough to hold the water heater. Failure to do so could
result in personal injury and / or property damage.
The water heater should be installed in a position where it is easy to access and operate.
The water heater is designed to be installed either inside the wall cavity between wall studs or outside wall cavity.
Make sure a properly earthed power outlet (240Vac / 50Hz) is available beside the unit. The hot water heater comes
with a 1.5m length power cord – see Figure 6.
Position the upper mounting bracket and partially screw the expandable screw in place. The clearance between the
screw head and the wall should be about 3mm. Hang the upper bracket onto the screw – see Figure 7.
