Recording a source
Please read the instruction manual for each device for more infor-
mation on how to operate the corresponding equipment.
1. Insert a blank tape into the tape deck.
2. Press the input selector button for the source you want to
record.
•
If you select VIDEO-1 or VIDEO-2, only the audio will be
recorded.
•
If you select FM or AM, set the tuner to the station you want to
record.
3. Set the tape deck in recording mode. Start playing the
source.
Set the proper recording level using the controls on the tape deck.
Adjusting any controls (bass, treble etc.) on the receiver during
recording will not affect the recorded tone.
If you are using the monitor function, refer to page 23.
1. Insert an LD or tape that you want to record into the VDP
or VCR connected to VIDEO-1.
2. Insert a blank video tape in the VCR connected to VIDEO-2.
3. Press the VIDEO-1 button.
4. Start playing the source video connected to VIDEO-1 and
start recording on the VCR.
During video tape editing, you can add sound to the recording
VCR from various audio program sources.
Perform steps 1. through 3. above, then complete the steps below.
4. Select the audio program source (DVD, FM, AM, PHONO,
CD).
5. Start playing the source video connected to the VIDEO-1
and also start playing the sound source. Then start record-
ing on the VCR connected to VIDEO-2.
Refer to the video disc player, video camcorder, DVD player or
VCR instruction manuals for additional information.
Note:
You cannot record the TAPE source sound to the device connected
to VIDEO-2.
