you have set turns on.

Prepare the source set in the
timer.
When setting Once, Weekday, or
Weekend timer
Prepare the source for playback (e.g.
inserting a CD).
Adjust the volume before proceeding
to the next step. This is because the
volume when the timer turns on the
unit, will become the same as the
volume when you switch off the unit to
operate the timer.
When setting Rec timer
Insert an MD with the record-protect
window closed into the unit.
Adjust the recording level, or turn on or
off LevelSync function (see page 25) if
necessary.

Turn off the unit.
The timer does not operate if the
power is on. Make sure to turn off the
unit after using, even if currently being
used.
The indicator of the set timer
lights in the display.
