Combining selected tracks
– Combine

• This is done while the MD is playing, paused, or

stopped.

• Only when the preceding track has a name, the

name will be the name of the combined track.

• To cancel the operation, press MD .

Insert the MD, then select MD as
the source.

Use a recordable MD with the record-
protect window closed.

Turn MULTI JOG to select the
track to be combined with.

The selected track will be combined
with the preceding track, so it is
impossible to select the first track.

Press

EDIT

/CLEAR/NO

repeatedly until “Combine?”
appears in the display.

Press REPEAT/

YES

The selected track and preceding track
are displayed.

Press REPEAT/

YES

“Rehearsal” and “Track OK?” appear
alternatively and the approximate
eight-second section around the
combining point will be played
repeatedly.

Press REPEAT/

YES

to combine.

“Complete” appears.
The selected track and preceding track
were combined and all the tracks have
been renumbered from the top.
