Advanced Playback

—Continued

This section explains how to play all loaded discs repeat-
edly.

This section explains how to play one track, folder, or
disc repeatedly.

Note:

• A previously created playlist will be deleted by this

procedure.

With the Random function you can enjoy a random
selection of tracks from all loaded discs.

Notes:

• Random playback can be combined with repeat play-

back (see the left column). In this case, random play-
back continues after all tracks have been played once.

• Random playback can be combined with memory

playback (see page 22). Note that if the memory play-
list contains a disc or folder, while that disc or folder
is being played, only tracks on that disc or in that
folder will be played at random. Other tracks will not
be played until all the tracks on that disc or in that
folder have been played once.

• You cannot use the DISC SELECT buttons, [DISC

SKIP] button, the remote controller’s DISC [+]/[–]
buttons, or number buttons during random playback.

• You can load and unload discs during random play-

back. If you swap a disc with one that has a different
number of tracks, all of the tracks on that disc will be
used for random playback. If the disc has the same
number of tracks, tracks with the same numbers as
those tracks already played, will not be played.
