Place the speaker as close as possible to your
television set or projection screen, for example, below/
in front of the television set or below the projection
screen.

Placement in lower location
When you place the speaker under a television set or a
projection screen, the speaker is parallel to the floor,
and a reflection becomes bigger or a high pitch sound
decays severely. In order to prevent it, place the
woofer and tweeter at an angle facing the listener by
using supplied spikes.
Refer to “Using the Supplied Spike” for the use of the
spikes.

When you place the speaker on the firm floor, we
recommend the use of supplied spike trays to
protect the flooring from damage.

For rear contact points, use supplied cork spacers.
・
Fasten the spike nut firmly to avoid the abnormal
noise.
Adjust the amount of torque of the spike nut for the
desired angle of the speaker.
Note
・
This speaker is not compatible with television sets
with Braun tubes.
・
Magnets are used for this speaker. Please move the
speaker apart from the magnetizing objects such as
television sets with Braun tubes, watches, cash
cards, and floppy discs.

Placement in higher location
When you place the speaker in higher location, make
sure to set it firmly so that it cannot slip and fall. This
is especially important if you have small children.
To prevent the cabinet from falling, you can secure the
cabinet to the wall, etc. by using durable cords with
cup hooks: Find holes on the back of the speaker, and
screw into each hole the cup hook of about 4 mm in
diameter and 15 mm long, and then secure the speaker
to the wall , etc. with the cord.
Note
A mounting screw’s ability to support a speaker
depends on the material and the position of studs of
the wall. (We recommend a consultation with
professionals.)
