Connecting Antennas
Connecting FM Antenna
This section explains how to connect the supplied indoor
FM antenna.
The CD receiver won’t pick up any radio signals if no
antenna is connected, so you must connect the antenna to
use the tuner.
Note:
• Once your CD receiver is ready for use, you’ll need to
tune into a radio station and position the antenna to
achieve the best possible reception.
Tip:
• If you cannot achieve good reception with the
supplied indoor FM antenna, try a commercially
available outdoor FM antenna instead.
Connecting the DAB Antenna
If using a DAB antenna, connect it to the same antenna
jack as the FM antenna.
If an FM antenna is already connected, you'll need to
disconnect it.
Since a DAB antenna is not supplied with this unit, you'll
need to purchase a commercially available DAB
antenna.
Note:
• When purchasing a DAB antenna, choose one that fits
the DAB/FM antenna jack located on the rear panel of
the CD receiver.
Connecting Other Components
Insert the plug
fully into the jack.
