DIMMER

MAIN: This button turns on or off the speakers connected to
the FRONT MAIN SPEAKERS, CENTER SPEAKER,
SURROUND SPEAKERS, and SUBWOOFER terminals.
When the speakers are turned on, the MAIN indicator lights
up.
REMOTE: This button turns on or off the speakers con-
nected to the FRONT REMOTE SPEAKERS terminals.
When the speakers are turned on, the REMOTE indicator
lights up. Turn on these speakers when using multiple
sources. (See page 29.)

The MASTER VOLUME control knob adjusts the volume of
the front, center, surround and subwoofer speakers simulta-
neously. Turning it clockwise increases the volume. You can
also adjust the volume using the remote controller’s VOL-
UME

The Master Volume level settings are: –

∞

dB (minimum),

–58 ~ –1, 0, +1 ~+18dB (maximum).
Depending on the calibration, it may be impossible to set the
Master Volume level to +18dB. Even if the knob is manually
turned to its maximum, it will return to its highest possible
setting.
The MASTER VOLUME control does not affect the MULTI
SOURCE Level. Use the remote controller to adjust the
multi-source level.

BASS: Adjust to strengthen or weaken bass response.

TREBLE: Adjust to strengthen or weaken treble response.

3-D BASS: This button is used to clearly reproduce ultra low
frequencies. When this button is pressed, the 3-DB indicator
lights up. 3-D BASS can be used in all surround modes.

•

The 3-D BASS control affects only the left/right Front
and Center speakers. The BASS and TREBLE controls
affect onty the left/right Front speakers.

Use this button to change the brightness of the display. The
brightness changes to bright, normal, or low.
