11 Camera Functions
11.1 Flat Field Correction Control (FFC function)
Flat Flied Correction (FFC) function is correcting shading on image that caused by characteristics of lens
(amount of through light difference at center and edge of lens) and characteristics of light (uneven brightness
level).
11.1.1 FFC Setting Procedure
It is necessary to obtain FFC data with black image and white image for FFC function.
Please follow below FFC procedure.
*Note 1:
When using FFC function, please sets “Free run” operation mode.
*Note 2: When changing lens or light source, please proceed this with new lens and light condition.
1.
Sets “01H” at address “50H” while shading camera to obtain FFC data with black image.
LED is blinking while obtaining FFC data.
The value of address
”50H” is changed to “00H” after FFC data is obtained.
2. Sets
“03H” at address “50H” while taking bright image (white image) to obtain FFC data with white
image.
LED is blinking while obtaining FFC data.
The value of address
”50H” is changed to “02H” after FFC data is obtained.

When setting “1” at “address “52H.0” after set FFC gain at address “51H”, image data with FFC that
is calculating data level with below formula is obtained.
FFC formula:
Image data with FFC = (Input image data - FFC data with black image) /
(FFC data with white image - FFC data with black image) * FFC gain
