How to get the MAC address by Wireshark

1. You’d like to assign IP address by DHCP but don’t know MAC address.

2. Connect target GI-S unit directly, Configure rotary DIP switches to “400” and
power on.

3. Boot Wireshark tool and start monitoring on Ethernet port.

4. Click either of DHCP discover log and click mark.

5. MAC address of the unit sent DHCP discover message is shown in “Client MAC
address”. Confirm it’s Omron device.

NOTE: MAC address is unique and Wireshark will recognize

this device is registered as an Omron device.
