Attach the removed expansion
battery connector cover again in
the direction shown in the figure.

Turn the “Input overcurrent protection” switch on the back of the UPS unit and
“Overcurrent protection” switch on the back of the expansion battery unit to the
“ON” position.
At the time of shipment, the overcurrent protection switch has a cover.
It is necessary to remove the cover in order to turn the switch ON.
After turning the switch ON, either store the cover so that it is not lost, or install
the cover on to the unit again with the switch turned ON.
